John has been an environmental activist and conservationist for many years. As a family the Wayne's are regularly engaged in Tree Planting, Rubbish collecting - active  and involved in Clean Up Australia Day, Clean up The Pin, Clean Up The Seaway, Anti Nuclear protests and numerous other areas of concern.
